These terms apply when you use The Brook Haul website or purchase products from us.

Products and Information

We take reasonable care to describe and display our products accurately. Product colours and appearance may vary depending on your screen. Minor product details may change where this does not materially affect the product.

Nothing in these terms limits any rights that cannot legally be limited under UK consumer law.

Orders

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the selected products.

A contract is formed when we accept your order and send an order confirmation.

We may decline or cancel an order if:

  • A product is unavailable

  • The product information or price is clearly incorrect

  • Payment is not authorised

  • Fraud or misuse is suspected

  • We cannot deliver to the address provided

If payment has already been taken for an order we cancel, the payment will be refunded.

Prices and Payment

Prices are displayed in pounds sterling unless another currency is shown during checkout.

Prices include applicable taxes where required. The Brook Haul is not VAT registered and does not issue VAT invoices.

Any delivery charges will be displayed before payment. International customers may be responsible for customs duties, import taxes or handling charges imposed by their country.

Processing and Delivery

We aim to process orders within 24 hours.

We aim to deliver orders within 3–5 working days after processing. Delivery times are estimates and may be affected by couriers, customs checks, public holidays or circumstances outside our reasonable control.

Cancellations, Returns and Refunds

UK consumers normally have the legal right to cancel an eligible online purchase within 14 days after receiving it, subject to statutory exceptions.

Our Return and Refund Policy explains our 30-day returns process, exclusions and how to request a return.

Your statutory consumer rights are not affected.

Product Safety and Use

Products must be used according to their instructions, warnings and intended purpose.

Customers are responsible for checking product compatibility, sizing and suitability before use.

Children, pets, heated products, electrical products and personal-care products must be supervised or used with appropriate care.

Website Use

You may use this website only for lawful personal shopping.

You must not:

  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website

  • Introduce viruses or malicious software

  • Interfere with the website or its security

  • Use the website fraudulently

  • Copy or commercially reuse our content without permission

Subject to those rights, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable or for business losses resulting from a consumer purchase.

Shopify provides the ecommerce platform used to operate this store and processes personal information as explained in the Privacy Policy.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms when our services, policies or legal obligations change.

The terms applying to an order are those in force when the order is accepted.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Consumers may also have rights to bring proceedings in the part of the United Kingdom where they live.
